The belly keeps getting bigger! We took this one New Years day, so we did it in the afternoon. Notice Molly trying to be in the picture :-) And I look a lot bigger than I feel, I blame that shirt, it is a bit fitted. Really don't like that picture. I look really pale.
Starting next week I will go in every week for check-ups. My last appt. was fine. Blood pressure was normal, baby's heart rate was 140, belly measured right on. However, the Dr. said there was a little sugar in my urine, which was fine. I had just made sugar cookies a few days before and had eaten one for lunch that day. Actually, I've been enjoying more than the usual amount of sugar from all the Christmas goodies and meals.
Baby should be about 5 lb. and the size of a honeydew melon, according to somewhere I read. He seemed to be moving more when I went back to work Monday and Tuesday, but maybe I just notice it more since I move less at work. I've still been sleeping good, except for having to get up and pee at least two times a night. That was until last night, when baby woke me with really strong hiccups. Hope that doesn't keep happening.
Still get tired easier and lots of leg cramping, especially when I walk or stand for too long. And I have built a holster for my bottle of Pepcid :-)
Baby's room is really almost done now. Kory still needs to build a bookshelf, but that might not happen until Spring when it will be warmer to work out in the garage. I could sew some burp clothes if I feel like it. Need to put the glider chair up in the room. We have been enjoying it in the living room for now. And about all I have left to buy is a breast pump. I borrowed a bunch of stuff from Marcia, such as clothes, towels, and a barely used infant seat. All we need now is a baby!
